Brisbane Broncos’ five-eighth Ezra Mam has agreed to pay $120,000 in fines to both Brisbane and the NRL after accepting a nine-game ban for driving offenses. The club confirmed late on Friday night that Mam would comply with the NRL sanctions, which include the ban and a $30,000 penalty. Additionally, Brisbane has imposed a $90,000 fine on the 22-year-old for driving under the influence while unlicensed following a collision with another vehicle in October. The club fine could potentially be distributed over more than one year, as per information from AAP. Mam is under contract with Brisbane until the end of 2029.
