Jacob Vennix, a 32-year-old Australian newlywed, tragically drowned on his honeymoon in Bali. The incident occurred at Pasut Beach in western Bali on Monday while he was swimming with his wife, Kimberley Fuller. After Fuller raised the alarm, two locals rushed to assist Vennix on a boat. Unfortunately, the boat capsized during the rescue operation, leading to a delay in bringing Vennix back to shore. Upon finally reaching the beach, Vennix was unconscious, and despite efforts to perform CPR, he could not be revived. Vennix and Fuller had tied the knot on December 20 in Adelaide before embarking on their honeymoon in Bali.
