Manhunt for Queensland Woman’s Murder Suspects
In a tragic turn of events, a manhunt is currently underway for two brothers suspected of the murder of Queensland woman Chloe Jade Mason. The suspects, 29-year-old Codye Thomson and 32-year-old Kaine Thomson-Gleeson, allegedly assaulted and shot Mason dead on Railway Parade, Caboolture, just after midnight on December 22. Mason, who knew the pair, had visited one of their homes in Caboolture, according to police reports.
Suspects Believed to be Hiding in NSW Bush
After being questioned by police and subsequently released due to insufficient evidence linking them to the crime, the Thomson brothers fled the state. Authorities have issued arrest warrants for the pair and have reason to believe they are currently camping in the NSW bush. Recent sightings placed the suspects in Chinderah in northern NSW on December 30, followed by a visit to relatives in Kempsey on the Mid North Coast. Police suspect that the brothers may be sleeping rough or camping in a white Holden Commodore, registered with Queensland plate 953 HO4.
