Couple Faces Court for Disruptive Behaviour on Jetstar Flight
Analisa Josefa Corr, 53, and James Alexander Corr, 45, found themselves in hot water after their alleged drunken mid-flight escapades led to a passenger assault on a Jetstar flight from Hobart to Sydney on December 28. The duo’s decision to consume alcohol they had brought onto the plane resulted in a series of unfortunate events that ultimately landed them in court.
Intoxicated Mid-Flight Antics
According to reports, the couple’s unruly behavior caught the attention of the flight staff, who promptly contacted the Australian Federal Police (AFP) to address the situation. Ms. Corr allegedly escalated the chaos by assaulting a fellow passenger as they exited one of the aircraft’s toilets. This act led to her being charged with one count of common assault.

The Corrs were promptly removed from the plane upon landing at Sydney’s domestic airport, where they were arrested and taken to Mascot police station to face the consequences of their actions. In addition to the common assault charge against Ms. Corr, both individuals are also facing charges related to failing to comply with cabin crew safety instructions and consuming alcohol not provided by the flight attendants. Each offense carries a maximum penalty of a $13,750 fine, with the common assault charge potentially resulting in a two-year jail term.
