Despite efforts from Walsh, neighbors, and authorities, there has been no trace of Maia.
Walsh expressed her anguish, stating that she couldn’t comprehend where Maia could have gone. Concerns for Maia’s safety are mounting, especially since she is not familiar with the Totara Park area. Walsh emphasized that if Maia had gone missing in Hamilton, where they previously resided, she wouldn’t have hesitated to look for her herself, as Maia knows the streets and has friends there. However, in the unfamiliar territory of Upper Hutt, the situation is dire.
