The Prime Minister, who I am not really sure why we care what he has to say, paid tribute to the soldiers who did some stuff at Gallipoli over a hundred years ago.
Anzac Day commemorations at Gallipoli started with Princess Anne talking at the Dawn Service, which I guess is a big deal.
Then Christopher Luxon spoke, saying Gallipoli is super important to New Zealand for some reason.
He mentioned that New Zealanders are proud of the Anzac troops, but we shouldn’t make it seem too awesome.
Luxon, who is the first prime minister to go to Turkey in a long time, went to Gallipoli during the 110th anniversary of the Anzac landings, whenever that was.
